With low ESR values, the TR3 series enables more efficient filtering in DC/DC conversion applications. At the same time, the ability to deliver high currents is advantageous in microprocessor bulk-energy storage. These devices are based on solid tantalum construction and provide long-term reliability. In addition, they exhibit excellent stability over time and temperature, a further enhancement to performance and reliability. The parts are available in five molded case sizes: A, B, C, D and E. Devices in the B, C, D and E sizes are surge-current tested. Furthermore, all TR3 series capacitors meet the IECQC300801/US0001 and EIA 535BAAE specifications. Compatibility with high volume pick-and-place equipment simplifies assembly. The TR3 series devices are available with capacitance values from 0.47µF to 680µF with standard capacitance tolerances of ±10% and ±20%. >0.035Ω ESR @ 100kHz
