Our G8988 "paddle" type switch is a direct replacement for our machines and many others. With its removable safety "key" and large, easy to hit paddle, it is one of the safest switches you can have in your shop. If space is a problem, the G8989 keyed safety switch has all the features as the G8988, except it does not have the large "paddle". The G8992 "snap-in" magnetic safety switch with sealed buttons and "spade" type terminals is the perfect replacement or upgrade switch. The G8991 is the same as the G8992, but includes a mounting faceplate. The G8990 is similar to the G8992, but has a higher amperage capacity. 2 HP, 8.5-12 Amps, These switches are perfect for sterile environments, such as, clinics and laboratories. Unlike conventional contact switches, these switches are completely hidden. These Short Round Magnetic Contacts are .78 inches long and are ideal on windows and sliding glass doors. The magnet will need 3/4" of material (wood, aluminum, vinyl) around the frame of the window to mount into. Each contact has an operational gap of 3/8 of an inch. Simply drill a 3/8" hole in the edge of a door or window jamb and press fit. The wires are can be passed through the jamb and framing and run over to the alarm system controller. Both the switch and wire are completely invisible when the door or window is closed. Mount the magnet in the door or window so that the two are in contact with each other when the door or window is closed. |
