Precision SPL meter. Never requires calibration. Consistent, accurate SPL measurements to 183 dB. Low-frequency RTA with 1 Hz frequency resolution. Integrated scorekeeping for 7 soundoff organizations. Term-LAB is the Official SPL for most soundoff orginizations. This SPL meter is designed specifically for autosound competitions where high sound levels are commonplace. The SPL-162 measures sound levels from 89 dB to 162 dB and will record in flat, C, or A-weighting. A temporary hold mode permits the user to place the unit inside the vehicle during the test and capture the information on the digital display. Power is supplied by 8 AA batteries (alkaline or Ni-Cad rechargeable) or by 12VDC power supply. Ni-Cad batteries can be recharged with the power supply without removing the batteries from the case (batteries not included). Also includes belt-attachable carry case large enough to carry the power supply. |
